This story illustrates that if a company the size of Google can be compromised, that any sense of online security is false. With the right preventative measures, one can maintain some protections but nothing is truly secure.
With the major breaches of late (Michael’s, Target, Home Depot) proving that we are under increased pressure by hackers, many in foreign nations. I recommend that all internet users begin to learn some basics on electronic security, whether it be stronger passwords, securing their wireless, or data encryption.
